Hi, I recently tried to enable sending emails via SSH by installing mailutils using the command:
sudo apt install -y mailutils
After this, all email-related services stopped working on my server. Both the email services in the OLS control panel and outgoing emails from WordPress and other websites stopped working completely.
Here’s what I have already tried to fix the issue:
Updated OLS Panel to the latest version
Removed and reinstalled Postfix
Reinstalled Dovecot
Unfortunately, none of these actions restored email functionality.
I would appreciate any guidance on how to properly install or configure email services compatible with OLS Panel so that emails from both the panel and websites can work again without needing to reinstall the control panel or reboot the server.
